Building the digital twin of an organization’s processes
Our vision at Nepero is to enable a true process digital twin: a living, data-grounded representation of how work actually flows inside an organization — so teams can optimize performance with confidence.
Why a digital twin?
Because process improvement shouldn’t be guesswork. With a digital twin, you can quantify trade-offs, test scenarios safely, and identify bottlenecks before they become costly.
The 3-step stack we believe in
Data → Discovery → SimulationConnect to real data
Collect event and operational data through connectors that integrate with existing systems (ERP, ticketing, workflow tools, custom apps, logs). A digital twin must start from reality.
Discover a simulation-ready process model
It’s not enough to discover a diagram. You need a model that is valid for simulation: consistent structure, parameters, distributions, resource assumptions, calendars, routing logic — ideally aligned with standards like BPMN + BPSim.
Simulate & run what-if analysis
Once the model is simulation-ready, you can run experiments to find bottlenecks, quantify service levels, and test improvements (staffing, rules, routing, capacity, batching) — safely and reproducibly.
What’s missing today
In our view, the industry still under-delivers on two foundational pieces: scalable simulation and simulation discovery. Many tools stop at modeling or analytics, but struggle to provide a modern, reliable simulation layer that can be embedded and scaled.
Where Nepero starts
We started from simulation, with an API-first mindset, because we want to be the infrastructure layer for teams already building BPMN modelers, workflow products, and process optimization platforms.
We do the “boring” hard part
Simulation engine, performance, scalability, reproducibility, and simulation discovery.
Partners do the product part
UI/UX, modeling experience, customer workflows, integrations, and business context.
Our typical customers are software companies (not end users): teams that want to embed simulation into their platform without building and maintaining a complex engine.
Help shape Nepero
If you’re building BPMN tools, workflow engines, or process platforms, your feedback helps us prioritize what to build next.
Nepero is building process simulation infrastructure, so product teams can focus on what users love.
